How to build the recovery kit: all six go in the hospital bag. Once you're home, 3–6 become "the pad stack," assembled fresh in your underwear each time, bottom to top, for the first couple of weeks. Pad on the bottom, then the ice pack, then three chilled witch hazel pads, then spray the foam over the whole thing.
